My Homeschool Classroom

My homeschool classroom for the early and primary years...

I have homeschooled my 3 older children when they were younger at various times. They have attended wonderful Christian schools when not at home, and they are enrolled presently.  Now, I have a little preschooler and a baby. I plan on homeschooling these two for their entire school careers (preschool-high school), Lord-willing. The three of us use our basement space.  My older kiddos usually complete their homework in the living room or at the kitchen table.  We also use the kitchen table for some learning activities as well...

The lights are a real joy for them, especially when we play instrumental Celtic music in the background during block time, painting, clay time, or free-play...

 Playing with clay...

I have a reading reward chart on the wall. We stamp it and reward our little one with ice cream or toys for completing reading and phonics activities...

I love this free desk. The chair is from Amazon, along with wall art from Hobby Lobby and Amazon as well...

Christmas Prep Example: We have shelves for seasons and holidays with coloring activities, fine motor tubs, sensory tubs, and lacing cards, etc.
