Beginning Formal Schooling at 3-4

You know that stage when your little one is becoming just old enough to begin formal schooling, yet not old enough to begin formal schooling at the same time?  If you are set on a homeschool plan, this can be an awkward stage; because the curriculums you have laid out for beginning reading and writing are just a little beyond the horizon for your readiness.

I have listed some resources for official schooling at home for around age 3-7.  The abeka k4 bible instruction classes are videos online for home use and look amazing. Though it says k4, a 3 or 3 1/2 year old could begin these Bible video lessons.  The great thing, Abeka has Bible videos for higher grades as well..
Abeka Bible Video Instruction is especially great for special needs learning situations- in our case, my little one can't sit still and I need video instruction to help at this time with the other duties of breastfeeding a baby full-time and having older kiddos to manage. BTW, thank goodness for my husband!

Also, another great resource I am wanting to try out- and haven't yet- is the National British Curriculum (Cambridge curriculum).  They have distance learning options to experience these global curriculums starting at early ages.  I plan on looking into some of these resources for math and language arts. Top schools in Dubai, Australia, and the UK use the British Curriculum- and so can you from home.

Little Fox also has language arts videos and songs for beginning readers.
