Teaching a toddler is more about constant nurture and care at this age, however, there is so much to learn before the preschool years start. Here is what I recommend and some things we do in our house:
Bible reading from a Bible storybook (Beginner's Bible)
Beginner's Bible videos on youtube- great way for little ones to learn the Bible thoroughly
You can use some preschool Bible worksheets to start off, using toys or manipulatives to tell the story.
The child can learn to hold a pencil and scribble on their worksheet.
picture books for read aloud time
puzzles focusing on skills in learning colors and shapes
blocks, montessori tower and stairs, cylinder knobs (size sorting)
buckle boards
pre-writing- workbooks for tracing lines and even a pre-writing wooden tablet
phonics- I begin with lowercase letters and their sounds only. A few times a week, I flip flashcards in front of my toddler and say each letter sound. They will pick up on more than you know.
painting with watercolors
coloring
playing with clay or playdough
counting out loud and introducing small numbers and amounts with manipulatives or through picture books
