Blessed, Sad, and Back to All Things Homemaking...with Family Pics

Blessed, because I'm recovered and back to all things home... My mom just left, so I'm a bit sad; but, I've already stepped into her helping tasks of washing bedding, organizing, taking care of all things kids, dishes, pets, making lunches and Jeremy plates of food, etc.

Just the normal day to day routines that are such a blessing. When you haven't been able to lift, and now can, you are grateful and joyful to be back to your working tasks.  In the last few minutes I'm reminded about just how much work running a household, taking care of every little detail, and managing kids and a husband actually is- plus dogs! (I did want a milking goat but opted out).

Although, I did have a dream about adopting a little boy who was about seven. Was that you Lord? Who knows...Of course, God is a Father. This is His main title. Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Jesus is our Father and our King--- and let me give you a piece of advice--- don't ever think for one moment God doesn't care for the orphan. He does. I'ts all throughout scripture. Our society is much more selfish today than our God. Our God holds all the orphans in His arms. So if He ever gives us one, I will be overjoyed to represent my master and King well.

Anyways, here are some random pics. I took all of them except the pilot cabin-- my husband takes those...

The skies are a big part of his life and I'm super proud of him.

Also, I'm redecorating our homeschool classroom to be more Reggio Emilia inspired. I hung some leaves and lights. We are getting a reading tent that is white to match the leaf and forest theme at Christmas. I'll also share some random homeschool activities with Addi and some resources... The pictures can take over now!

Ebay File Folders--these come laminated for learning activities! I love these and use them for a lot of enrichment for subject matter.

One Reggio inspired wall...

Our remodeled kitchen area and book area. We are organizing toy fruits, veggies, and dishes in baskets.

--I got a great foam mat on Amazon and hung lights on the other wall. Our Psalm 23 poster is from milestonebooks.com

Love...

By Addi's desk--the page is a reading chart...

Playing with clay. We turn off the tv and play Celtic Instrumental Music and build or do art. The baby loves mega blocks and joining in. I get work done on the computer or knit etc. This is a very enjoyable time of the day.

I love these and put these in a pocket chart. She has different ways to use these as pictured. I absolutely adore these for our homeschool room and I hope you enjoy them too! I printed, laminated, and cut them out for more durability.

My wish list: I'm saving up for these STEM home classroom toys...
