A Friend Doesn’t Want You to Fail

Jesus is the best friend we will ever have and guess what—- He wants your best! He looks at you with love. If your soul and spirit has longed and been thirsty for Him, He has drawn you. John 6:44. If you have cried for forgiveness, if you have wanted to live a life pleasing to Him, making Him your complete Savior as Lord of all to cleanse your sin and separation from Him , you have experienced His chords of love and salvation! Rejoice.

When you fall, repent and get up.

Live a humble life. Know His will is for your success. Have you ever had someone in your life that has wanted your failure? Someone who just wanted you to fall hard out of a bitter, jealous spirit full of strife and abuse? I have come across those people in my life, my husband has as well, who had hearts as bitter as wormwood for your failings. Maybe you have acted this way or have had a parent or close friend turn this way towards you. It’s wrong!

I’ve lived since childhood with chords of jealousy surrounding me, with certain people wanting to paint a false picture of who I really was or am—- to hide that persons own sin in fact! Guess what, know the creator of Heaven loves you. He isn’t sinfully jealous just righteously jealous for you.

Who can stand against jealousy? Bible verse

I’ve grown out of a lot of mistreatment and hardships in my life, especially in childhood and I’ve learned one thing—— a bitter heart or a jealous heart destroys. Forgive those who have hurt you and turn the other cheek. Love as Christ. Follow Him not man. My husband and I both don’t open up to people well, it’s hard backgrounds —-it’s hard to know whom to really trust, who will really love you. I bet you’ve experienced this in some way or another in your own life. Here are my tips for learning to be a faithful spouse, friend, and believer. We all have growth.

Forgive. Pray for reconciliation, but don’t chase someone who hasn’t repented of their own sinfulness. Forgive, but in this scenario reconciliation is not required.

Don’t have a bitter or jealous spirit. Have love, have diversity in a biblical way, and pray for more grace in your life.

Pray for your enemies and do good to them, expecting nothing in return.

Live to fulfill your personal call from Christ. Don’t strive to please men, Jesus says the unwise strive to please men. Please the Lord and then you will have favor with men.

Love, heal, forgive, move forward in scripture and grace, and know Jesus has your best interests at heart. He alone equips you to walk in righteousness.
