To my husband...

This guy right here, I love him so incredibly much. Not that we don't ever get on each other's nerves, get frustrated with one another, fight, cry, make up, laugh, you name it, we have experienced it all together.

Marriage in this life is hard. It's not easy. But, it is a blessing.

New Living Translation Proverbs 18:22

"The man who finds a wife finds a treasure, and he receives favor from the LORD."

Proverbs 5:18  Let thy fountain be blessed:

And rejoice with the wife of thy youth.

Today I'm thankful for my husband, cleaning up the yard, setting up a new trampoline with a slide and water sprinkler attachment for the kids. Helping with the house, before he goes off to work.  I've been cleaning all day, and feel like I've just got a little bit done. These are our normal days.

It's a blessing to have one another.  I found Jeremy's old notebook from his teenage years. I've struggled with self-esteem at times in my life, and it really made me feel special. Prayers and prayers to the Lord to find the right one. For God to bring his wife to him.  Even when he was tempted as a teen, he begged God to make him stay faithful to his wife, who God would yet show him. Little did he know (as a punk drummer) this probably 11 or 12 year old girl- he had not met me yet, was sitting in a Church of Christ, singing hymns, and was a little girl who was so different from anything he'd been around who had a story all her own.. Lol, the way the Lord knits together. What God has brought together, let not man separate. And that is a command from the Lord Himself.

Well, as we get older, I realize I'm blessed. I can't believe God had me in mind through Jeremy's years of prayers.  I'm not special, but Jesus is. I'm a sinner, but Jesus is righteous.

Enjoy your marriage. Have fun.  Love your children. Children are most confident when their parents love one another.  Work as hard as you can to please Christ in your marriage and get help when you need it. Be thankful for all those around you who have loved you and your spouse.  Treasure each day, the time is short and the days are evil.

This guy right here. He gave me my children. He is faithful. He has always been faithful to me.  He informed me the other day. Bri, some females at work told a man to get me because they thought I was cute.  He went up to those girls and said, "I'm married with 5 children."Basically, leave me alone...he has done this with anyone since praying for me at a young age before becoming a husband, realizing God had marriage in mind for him ;) Ha ha. They were like- oh okay. See ya later!" Anyways, what a blessing. He informs me of everything always.

Love him. Briana

And if you haven't shouted out to your husband- do so!

And if you are praying for a godly husband in your own life- do so intentionally!
