Jeremy and the kids put up the Christmas decorations for our winter. He is very excited about the tree that came with lights already on it. He also grabbed the display tree at Walmart to get 100 dollars off haha. Proud papa moment...
And, I got the white reading tent for the classroom, reorganized the block table with the new wall-art. And, I painted the dollhouse. I had to make it a bit more boy friendly, with a little boy in our house. Our precious gift! His older brother prayed and prayed for years. Poor guy, stuck with three sisters in the middle. :)
Lastly, I've been organizing Classical Conversations homeschool resources. I have been asked to help tutor this year, and I am sharing this responsibility with some amazing and godly people. I prayed and prayed to have a homeschool group that was Christian, family focused, marriage building, and community driven, and God led me to C.C. In fact, you probably have a group by you. They usually meet in churches one day a week, follow a Biblical, classical curriculum guide, and focus on many subjects. More importantly, they support parents raising their children. As my older children are thriving in a Christian school environment and they have built their community, God wiped this mama's tears (after all they grow up) and gave me two more with Jeremy and brought this group.
Its become a church family already in addition to our home church. The church is a living body that has no separation or division. This is the family support unit during the week we have prayed for. I couldn't be more grateful. Best of all, moms or dads are required to stay on campus with their littles in class, which fits Addison perfectly. She is very close to her mama and so is her baby brother!
Pictured are the history cards which are used for each cycle in CC ( a cycle rotates every year) and a book I ordered on Amazon. This book helped lead Addison to Jesus at a toddler level. She has accepted Him and I can't credit this book enough in aiding the Holy Spirit's work in her little life.
