I do not side with Calvinism or Arminianism. I believe the Bible at its sole Word. It all points to Jesus, The one God in the Flesh. Our Father who came to die for His own creatures- He did not send someone else, The Lord Himself came to redeem. He did all the work for all creation. The Father and Christ are One. The Great I AM. The Father, Son, and Spirit are One.
How beautiful is the gospel for those who have received it.
Colossians 1:15-20 God created all things in Heaven and Earth and reconciled all things in Heaven and Earth through His blood. Those who obey the gospel are not condemned any longer. Those who have faith in Christ are justified freely by God's grace. This is the election aspect in Romans. Not by works, before we were born, but by faith in the blood of the lamb slain!
We also are no longer condemned! Its hard to grasp if you are a self-condemning person. Arguing with God that maybe your just not clean. Well, He says if you believe in Him and have obeyed the gospel, you are! I loved this devotional. And I will post gospel verses below this devotional. The free gift has come to all mankind. Those who receive it are justified freely by grace. Forever!
"Believing that we are no longer condemned as Christians can be one of the hardest things to unlearn. We’ve sinned. For those of us with an addiction, we’ve sinned a long time. We’ve done damage to ourselves and possibly damage to others. But the price that needs to be paid, has already been paid. Through one act that showed God’s great love.
As the Romans played a game to see who got to beat him, Jesus stood silent. As the led, bone, and pottery of the flagellum bruised him, ripped and tore his flesh from his bone; Jesus stayed silent. As he pushed against the beams to be able to breathe, still He stayed silent. He took on the wrath of God to satisfy God. Paying the price God needed to remember your sins no more.
He was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned — every one — to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. (Isaiah 53:5–6)
Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities. (Isaiah 53:10–11)
But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. (Romans 5:8-9)
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. - Romans 8:1
No means no. It means you do not need to beat yourself up anymore. You do not need to self-judge, self-condemn. You are freed from the chains of sin. Bought with a price. Ransomed and restored. Do not put on your shoulders what Christ took for you. Instead, take His yoke, which is light. If you haven’t, ask Him for it, ask for help to trust Him to take the heavy yoke of guilt you carry. Take on the yoke of grace."
----------------------------------------------Romans 5:9-21 (Don't let anyone ever tell you that the free gift isn't offered to all mankind. It is! God is true. Let every man be a liar. ) Only those who accept this free gift are justified freely. The gospel will judge those on the last day, who have not obeyed God's gracious gift of the gospel- His death and resurrection for every creature Mark 16:15. His wrath will remain on the disobedient. )
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
